Why Cats are Better Pets than Dogs Despite Their Arrogance
Cats are quiet and don't bark incessantly and they are a lot cleaner than dogs. They can be aloof but this is largely because they are misunderstood.
Cats are more intelligent than usually assumed and while they cannot be trained to do things like dogs maybe that reflects an independence that we praise in our fellow human beings.
Another excellent point is that cats are happy and content to be cats, while dogs want to be human and imitate humans. Nobody likes those who are 'sucking up' all the time.
If we understood the nature of the superior air and graces of cats perhaps we could learn to like them better.
Perchance people who like cats are fundamentally different from people who like dogs, perhaps intellectually superior - 'Like Likes Like' after all. So what does that say about You?
Cats have an outstanding hearing ability, perhaps the most sensitive of any animal. It is very hard to sneak up on a cat and they hate it when you succeed. They are proud and superior about their perception.
Cats are like furry modern tanks. Their whiskers are not only sensitive to touch enabling them to squeeze through tiny spaces but they also sense vibrations in the air. Cats can maneuver their whiskers forward as a short-range radar to detect vibrations.
Cats are renowned for their night vision and they do all sorts or sneaky stuff at night
Cats have a fabulous sense of smell and an ability to be fussy and turn up their noses at most things we offer them as 'food' ('You must be Joking - You Expect me to Eat That!'). Yet they will carry around disgusting rotting remnants of their latest 'kills' and shove it in our faces to earn our praise.
Cats definitely have ESP, but it is more subtle than that in dogs. It is much harder to see it in action. All of the dog's mind control is directed at 'sucking up' and controlling the relationship with humans. Cats use this ability of their own private purposes and to control human behavior in more subtle ways. No bounding up and having tails wagging the body like dogs do when they think they have gotten onto something and can predict that their owners may be going to take their for 'walkies'. Cats 'Know that they Know' and they use their ability to decipher human body language and to inject thoughts and control vectors into human brains for their own private purposes.
Cats are a lot smarter than we think and the supposed intellectual superiority of dogs is only because humans only see 'human type responses' as being signs of intelligence. Perhaps the apparent inability to train cats to do the dumb things that dogs do is really an intelligence asset rather than a liability for cats.
The ancient Egyptians loved, re-veered and worshiped cats. Where are the dogs? Nowhere to be seen! They are lowly hunting tools.
